EMBEDDED SYSTEMS

This research group focuses on the use of embedded systems for solving practical problems. Recent developments include a low power tracking system for elephants using multiple energy harvesting techniques. Another ongoing project is development of a health monitoring jacket to monitor patients with non-communicable diseases such as heart diseases, asthma and arthritis. Previous work includes use of Electroencephalography (EEG) to monitor stress levels of patients.
